GM NIGERIA SET PARTICIPATES AT LAGOS INTERNATIONAL MOTOR FAIR

GM Nigeria participated in the just concluded Lagos Motor-fair which took place at Ocean-view restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos, between 18th-24th October, 2007.

Products on display include:

The Lagos Auto Fair has come to be an annual event where major players and discerning organizations in the automobile sector of the economy participate to showcase their BRANDS to the world.

GM Nigeria as a major player in this sector took active part in this year's event as it has been our practice (over the years) to showcase our Isuzu brand in various body applications.

However, this year fair was unique in the sense that visitors and customers who visited our stand were afforded the opportunity to enjoy some outstanding benefits especially for those who purchase any of our Isuzu models at the fair ground.

Part of these benefits include offering the first and second service free (both labour and material) for all Isuzu models purchased at the fair ground. This promo is to run for two weeks. Also GM Nigeria offers 100,000 kilometers or 3 years warranty (whichever comes first) on any brand of the Isuzu purchased either at the fair ground or after. Enjoyment of between 24 to 48 months financial scheme for all prospective customers at the deposit of 0 – 30% of the actual amount of any of the Isuzu brand. This is made possible through a special arrangement with some banks.

One of the highpoint of our participation at this year's fair is the introduction of the new NKR 4.4tons (GVW) capacity to the automobile market in Nigeria . This is the first time such model will be introduced to the market.

ISUZU TIGER SINGLE & DOUBLE CABIN D-MAX REPOSTIONING

Our major participation at the 2007 Lagos Auto Fair is to announce our repositioning of the Isuzu Tiger Single and Double Cabin 2WD and 4WD D-Max from being a rugged vehicle to a pleasure ride suitable for all occasions and functions to all sectors of our economy.

Both these engines take full advantage of direct-injection technology, which significantly boosts fuel economy, reduces emissions and extends engine service life up to 30 percent.

The gasoline power plant for the Isuzu Tiger D-Max ( 2WD) is 2.4 liters. Widely known for reliable fuel-efficient performance, this engine features multi-point fuel injection and SOJC (single overhead camshaft) design. Whichever engine you choose, you can be sure of plenty of power for heavy loads, highway cruising and off-road adventure.
